Knock Knock there’s Tiger at the door

It looks like Ridgewood Country Club, The Barclays, the PGA Tour, the fan’s, matter of fact the whole world just might be in for a treat this week. If Tiger can work his magic.

With Tiger’s divorce now final, he can finally go back to doing what he does best…PLAY GOLF. And after yesterday’s round of 65, I have a sneaky suspicion that he might be right back on track and it doesn’t surprise me. Being the Tiger that he is, he has been lying in wait all season for his opportunity to pounce. And it looks like he is going to pounce.

Having been in his shoes, I fully understand where he was at, divorce, the legalities of it, the mental and emotional anguish all associated with it are quite stressful. Long sleepless nights, worrying about your children, the future relationship you may or may not have with your ex, I can go on and on here but the point is. Tiger is BACK, and from initial appearances, it looks like he is full form, or at least showing signs of life again. Quite frankly I hope he does well, and actually, I hope he wins.

Then again…who knows. Long term history shows Tiger coming from behind when the chips were down.
Recent history however, definitely shows a different perspective. With Tiger shooting 73 today and losing four shots to the field he has his work cut out for him. And we all know how he can make up shots like no one else. We will see what we will see as, for whatever reason his play on the back was less than stellar posting four bogeys in eight holes. But I have faith and am sure that he will rebound on the weekend as he did make the cut.

With two weeks left before Corey’s final pick, I am sure Tiger will pull out all the stops at securing his position on the Ryder Cup Team. This in turn will make history for him having been the only player to play on every Ryder Cup team since he became a full member of the tour. He needs to make up some points and radically. Again I do have faith.

All the best out there this week tiger. I know you can do it. Now just go have some fun again and play some golf.
